Viva Las Vegas...and Florida

Spending the past 4 days in Vegas with my sister felt like we were there for 4 weeks. Vegas has a way of packing so much into one day that at the end of your trip you leave utterly exhausted, fulfilled and hopefully not broke as you say goodbye your money for one last time looking out the airplane window ;)

I haven't seen my sister in a year and we wanted to take a girls trip to celebrate our reunion and my 30th birthday a bit early. Here are a couple of my favorite moments from the trip:

Looking like a bunch of bananas. Yes we may have taken a limo from the airport but hey its my 30th birthday. At least I can pretend to look like a high roller ;)

First night out. H&M dress I got for like $20.

Makeup time. Not shabby for doing it ourselves. Never underestimate the power of fake lashes!

My Ill only wear this once in my life bombshell dress from Bebe

Britney Spears

She was not into into her show and lip synched the entire thing but my inner 13 year old was dying inside. Her dancers made up for everything and the set was flashy and fun.

Hard to see whats going on here but Le Reve was a must see show. High flying acrobats, synchronized swimmers, high diving. Way better than O. We were in absolute awe of the talent, strength and passion the performers had.

Got to meet fellow Dr's wife Breanna. We met through blogging such a small world and it was so cool to connect with her in person.

Frozen Oreo hot chocolate-enough said. So amazing I had to have 2. Interestingly enough this milkshake didnt bring any boys to the yard hmm...

View from our hotel. Vegas at night is a man made wonder to behold.

Last night in Vegas but still smiling
Then we headed to Florida and my sisters pool. Coming back to 50 degree weather was not the most fun thing after this :(

Watch out Tiger Woods. I may have gotten two holes in one put putting.

My last Florida shot. Palm trees make everyone happy right??

So I had one heck of a week and am back home now. It feels like I never left but also like I'd been gone forever. If I didnt have all the pictures I may not believe all that I did. Whats next on your traveling agenda? Or any bucket list places you want to see?

  1. Looks like you ladies had a great time! I really want to go to Vegas one day. And I actually saw a somewhat recent interview with Britney Spears talking about her Vegas show and when they asked her if she was excited to be singing every day again she said NO! I was like OMG, really?? lol! So I'm not too surprised that it didn't seem like she was into it, but I'm glad everyone else picked up the slack and made it fun

  2. Looks like you and your sister had a great time. Happy 30th!

  4. I have a bad case of homesickness so all my trips are 10 days max. I try to make a point in using each minute wisely. I usually feel they were like dreams. Such intense fun and action packed in a tiny space if time.
    Glad you enjoyed yourself.
May your thirties be full of happiness and joy.
