Man I have had a lapse in blogging lately. Between the holidays and getting back from vacation my writing motivation has been at about zero. I have lots of ideas for new posts and more pictures so I promise I’ll get better!
Anyways I wanted to share some more vacation pictures. Time away like this is special to me because my husband regularly puts in 80-100 hours a week at the hospital and to be able to see him relaxed, laughing and happy is worth every penny we spent ๐
Plus it’s so freaking gorgeous and if it’s cold where you are like it is here I’m sure it’s appreciated! Check out the color of the ocean-nature is the perfect artist!
We stayed at the Gansevoort in Providenciales Turks & Caicos. The hotel was gorgeous, modern and clean but to be honest overpriced. If we ever go back to the island again I would probably stay at a different hotel. It was very comparable to Hawaii or New York City prices. 4$ for a can of coke, dinner was 300$ massages were almost 200$ each.
It was crazy how much we spent on our hotel and food! My husband was fortunate enough to get a bonus for signing his job contract and that’s how we were able to afford it but T&C is definitely a luxury place to travel and not cheap. I was shocked to see lots of families and groups there too considering the prices and the lack of real excursions.
But I must say of all the islands I have been to in the carribean it was by far the most beautiful and had the best seafood…can I go back already now I don’t like reality!?

It looks SO gorgeous there. I love your LBD picture- you'll have to post another shot of that dress with details on it and the necklace. ๐

So jealous of this!! My sister in law and I are planning a girls trip to Jamaica at the end of April. This makes me soooo excited for the beach!! Dang! It's good to have you back, but I'm also sad for you that you had to leave! Crazy that it was so expensive though! I get spoiled by how cheap Mexico is!

First of all, you're beautiful. I just wanted to throw that out there!
Secondly, I'm so happy I just found your blog. I find your posts so relevant; as I am dating (for 5 years now) a first year medical student — we are currently living in Michigan's Capital City, I love all things fashion/health/beauty, and I love Island getaways (haha). I'm looking forward to your posts! Consider me hooked!
XO,
Miranda
