Casual Holiday Style

12.02.2013

I would say that my style (and who am I kidding my whole life mostly) is casual, laid back and comfortable. I recently joined a holiday style link up and this weeks theme is casual holiday style. I love blog hops because it gives a fun chance to check out other peoples fashion sense and steal some new ideas. So feel free to steal away!

I think I have the worst selfie mirror known to mankind and I can either get one of three things in it: 1. My outfit head to toe, 2. My head or 3. My messy closet. Having someone take pictures for me isn't really an option considering my husband would laugh at me and my schnauzer isn't so great with her photography skills ;)

Leggings from Jane.com, Gap shirt and Coach boots. Note the curled hair woo hoo yay for a curling iron that keeps it that way finally :)

Express infinity scarf, old navy shirt, wunder unders from Lululemon, and Coach boots

Old Navy boyfriend sweater, honeybee knockoff necklace from Ebay, Lululemon pants again, boots from Macys from a couple years ago that are too painful to walk in but make for great selfies.

Said schnauzer who isn't so great with her paws on the camera but is fantastic at napping.

  3. Cute outfits, Kelly! What was the magical curling iron you used to get your hair to stay in curls? :) So glad to have you participating with us!

  4. We are obsessed with the leggings in your first picture! We totally sympathize with having difficulty getting photos done. We initially had the same issue as well, but it makes a world of difference if you can get a photographer or a friend to help you out. We found that taking pictures of multiple outfits in one day can save time and you can spread the posts over the week.

  6. I love leggings with tunics/long cardigans/long sweaters, so I love outfits like the ones you are wearing. It's my favorite type of outfit. All of your outfits are so beautiful and stylish (and comfortable too, which is a must). Regarding your question about what hair products I use, I'm writing a post about it, because many people have asked me that and I would love to share the products I use (nothing expensive) and some other things, such as shower filter, pillowcase, etc. The post is getting bigger and I hope you have patience to read it. :)

  8. Trust me, I totally understand about the selfie shot. I don't have anyone to take pics of me either. If you have a full length mirror, maybe try standing it somewhere that you have space behind you? My mirror used to be in my room but I moved it downstairs and it helped so much. You look adorable and I love the outfit!!
