Fashion Fridays

I cropped out my messy closet-sorry mom!
I am pretty far from a "fashionista". I can put colors together that I don't think clash and I know what outfits make me look and feel my best. I have a weird obsession that all of my clothes be comfortable which kind of tends to limit my choices. Just the thought of sweating in a polyester shirt or wearing wool pants makes me curl up in fear!

And to think I wanted to be a model at one point. Yeah Im sure that would have gone over really well. "Im sorry Dolce, sorry Gibbana can't wear that shirt and pants down the runway-its too prickly on my skin". Umm yeah.

So this week I managed to pull together a few cute, affordable outfits. As I mentioned before I do not hire a professional photographer to follow me around snapping oh so "candid" pics of me. My selfie taking skills are just fine thank you very much.

The two outfits above are pretty simple. The one on the left is an asymmetric sweater from Express combined with black leggings (I am obsessed with wearing Lululemon Wunder Unders) and Coach riding boots I got on super clearance two Christmases ago. I am on the fence about returning the sweater though-its is very soft and pretty but bagged and stretched out like nothing I've seen before. It looked like I had go-go gadget arms by the end of the night!

The one on the right is a boyfriend sweater from Express with a gap tank underneath, my grey American Eagle jeggings, and those riding boots again. Both outfits are easy to duplicate in color and style from anywhere.

Any fun trends you're into this fall?

    1. Yours is one of my faves. Thanks for checking mine out too :)

  3. I really enjoy your real-life fashion choices! (And I see a link-up in your future with your Express shopping habits. ha ha!)

Zipper details have been my trend weakness this fall. :)

  4. Love the boots. I like the wearable-ness of both of these.

    1. Thank you :) I have to wear things that are comfy all the time. I could def not do anything high fashion and "picky" ha.
